Welcome, future scholars! It’s that time of the year again when aspirations meet opportunities, and Osun State University is thrilled to announce the commencement of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise. If you’ve set your sights on UNIOSUN, here’s everything you need to know to embark on your academic journey.
To be part of this exciting journey, candidates must have chosen Osun State University as their first choice or be willing to make the switch. A minimum UTME score of 160 marks is required for consideration. However, candidates eyeing programs like Nursing, Medicine, Law, Common and Islamic Law should aim for a score of 200 marks or above. Don’t worry if you fall short; you can easily switch to another relevant program of your choice.
Ready to take the next step? Head over to the official UNIOSUN website (http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng) to complete and submit your application online. After submission, don’t forget to print two copies of the application form for your records.
Direct Entry Candidates:
For those taking the Direct Entry route, ensure you meet the admission requirements by visiting the university website. Direct Entry candidates, including those on UNIOSUN programs like IJMB and JUPEB, must submit their academic transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University by Friday, 6th October 2023.
Keep in mind that in alignment with national policy, candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old as of 31st December 2023 to be eligible.
The 2023/2024 Admission Exercise will utilize the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a streamlined approach by JAMB to automate the tertiary institution admissions process. Ensure you upload your O’ Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal for seamless admission processing.
Mark your calendars! The application process runs from Monday, 7th August at 24.00 midnight to Tuesday, 10th October 2023 at 12.00 noon. If you encounter any challenges accessing the admission portal, wait for 30 minutes and try again.
To complete the Post UTME Screening, a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) can be made through the REMITA Web PAY Platform using ATM cards (Master Card, Verve Card, and REMITA enabled Cards.)
Make sure to submit your forms by 12.00 noon on Tuesday, 10th October 2023. Missing the deadline means missing out on this incredible opportunity.
