Admission Form and Application Period:
The School of Midwifery, Batsar is inviting eligible candidates to apply for the Basic Nursing and Midwifery programme for the upcoming academic session. The admission process is scheduled to take place from Monday, 2nd October to Friday, 20th October 2023, between the hours of 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, excluding public holidays and weekends. It is crucial to complete the application before the specified deadline, as late applications will not be considered.
Venue and Registration Fees:
Prospective students are required to register at the school’s main campus. The registration fees are as follows:
Indigenes: N 14,000.00
Non-Indigenes: N 16,000.00
The breakdown of fees includes N5,000.00 or N7,000.00 for indigenes and non-indigenes, respectively, in addition to a processing fee of N8,000.00. There are also fees for the Nursing and Midwifery Committee (N500.00) and a customized file (N500.00).
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Original and two photocopies of recent color passport photographs.
Educational Certificate – FSLC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB.
Birth certificate or Age Declaration.
Certificate of Local Government of Origin.
Change of name document (if applicable).
Prospective students must be at least 17 years old and not more than 35 years old before obtaining the School of Midwifery, Batsar Admission Form. During the application process, age verification documents such as a birth certificate or an age declaration affidavit will be required.
After submitting the application form, eligible candidates will undergo an entrance examination. This examination is designed to assess applicants’ knowledge and aptitude for nursing and midwifery. It is recommended to prepare thoroughly for the examination to enhance your chances of success.
