After the candidates have confirmed that they have been placed on the shortlist of candidates for National Drug Law Enforcement Agency 2023, the next phase of the recruitment process is training. In the event that a candidate’s name appears on the shortlist of candidates for training, the Nigerian Security and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Corps (NDLEA) will notify the candidate.

The NDLEA list is finally out, and you can check it on ndlea.careers portal if you wrote the CBT exams for National Drug Law Enforcement Agency recruitment applicants, and also participated in the physical screening exercise, and want to see the final results. It is good news for those who participated in the CBT exams and also participated in physical screening exercises.
Has NDLEA Shortlisted Candidates 2023 been released?
There is no doubt that NDLEA’s (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s) shortlist of candidates is out for the recruitment. The full list of candidates can now be viewed online. National Drug Law Enforcement Agency had earlier announced that over 7,500 candidates were shortlisted for physical screening, which will take place between after the online test.
The underlisted candidates are therefore asked to report for the screening/interview exercise, which would be held in five designated centres nationwide. The Centres are as follows:
- Abuja – NDLEA Headquarters, No 6 Port Harcourt Crescent, off Gimbiya Street, Garki Area 11 Abuja, FCT.
- Kano – Kano State Command of NDLEA, Airport Road, Kano
- Lagos – NDLEA Liaison Office, 4 Shaw Road, Ikoyi, Lagos
- Jos – NDLEA Academy, Katton Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State
- Port Harcourt – Rivers State Command of NDLEA, Artillery Junction, Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers
The Superintendent Cadre and shortlisted Narcotic Agent/Assistant Cadre Candidates are advised to check their names carefully against the batch they belong and note the date they are requested to attend the screening/interview as any deviation from instructions would attract disqualification.
Candidates should attend the screening/interview with the following documents:
- Original and photocopy of credentials in a file, including all relevant certificates (academic/statement of results; birth/declaration of age certificates; NYSC discharge/exemption certificates; certificate of state of origin; and professional certificates where necessary etc).
- Candidates who fail to bring the necessary documents would be disqualified.
- Two recent colour passport photographs without cap/hat.
- A pair each of white (unmarked) round neck vests, navy blue shorts (without stripes), canvass and white socks.
- Duly completed copies of the guarantors’ forms.
- Printed National Identification Card and Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- Current certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
- Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants (If any).
- Writing materials.

Important Information
- Shortlisted candidates who fail to report on stated dates for their interview will be disqualified.
- All shortlisted candidates will undergo drug integrity test.
- A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Any candidate from other batches seen loitering around the interview centres on dates they are not scheduled or candidates who violate instructions during the screening would be disqualified.

In order to check the name of NDLEA shortlisted applicants, the following procedures need to be followed:
- Visit the website www.ndlea.careers.
- Log in with your mobile number, email, and the password
- Once logged in, go to the shortlisting section
- Click on the link and check if you’ve been selected
We would like to point out that National Drug Law Enforcement Agency clearly states on its website that only those candidates who have the qualifications needed for the role will be shortlisted. More Details On The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Shortlisted Candidates 2023
The NDLEA Shortlisted Candidates from the Nigeria Security and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Corps recruitment exercise is now available to view and download on the NDLEA website at www.cdcfib.career. The list of shortlisted candidates from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency sector is also available on the NDLEA website.
It is currently the case that the first phase of the recruitment has been completed by the National Security and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Centre, and the next step is to shortlist applicants. In other words, NDLEA will select applicants who will be considered for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Screening / aptitude test. For the purpose of recruitment, the Nigeria Security and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Corps (NDLEA) has set up a set of qualifications that can be used to shortlist candidates.
There is a high probability that you will be among the shortlisted candidates if your application has been submitted correctly on the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency portal.

Those candidates who applied for the recruitment will be able to check their shortlisting status by logging in to their dashboard and checking their shortlisting status.
