After the candidates have confirmed that they have been placed on the shortlist of candidates for Nigeria Immigration Service 2023, the next phase of the recruitment process is training. This is to inform all candidates who applied for recruitment into Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to visit Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board’s (CDCFIB) portal at http://cdcfib.career or check their emails and phones for messages and to check if you are amongst those shortlisted as well as print your invitation letter for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) holding on Thursday 18th May, 2023.

Has NIS Shortlisted Candidates 2023 been released?
There is no doubt that NIS’s (Nigeria Immigration Service’s) shortlist of candidates is out for the recruitment. The full list of candidates can now be viewed online. Nigeria Immigration Service had earlier announced that over 7,500 candidates were shortlisted for physical screening, which will take place between after the online test.
I would like to remind you that you are encouraged to print your recruitment slip out from the NIS Portal so that you can present it along with other important documents to the Nigeria Immigration Service officials in order to successfully complete your screening.

How to Check NIS Shortlisted Candidates 2023
In order to check the name of NIS shortlisted applicants, the following procedures need to be followed:
- Visit the website www.NIS.careers.
- Log in with your mobile number, email, and the password
- Once logged in, go to the shortlisting section
- Click on the link and check if you’ve been selected

The NIS Shortlisted Candidates from the Nigeria Security and Nigeria Immigration Service Corps recruitment exercise is now available to view and download on the NIS website at www.cdcfib.career. The list of shortlisted candidates from the Nigeria Immigration Service sector is also available on the NIS website.
It is currently the case that the first phase of the recruitment has been completed by the National Security and Nigeria Immigration Service Centre, and the next step is to shortlist applicants. In other words, NIS will select applicants who will be considered for the Nigeria Immigration Service Screening / aptitude test. For the purpose of recruitment, the Nigeria Security and Nigeria Immigration Service Corps (NIS) has set up a set of qualifications that can be used to shortlist candidates.

Those candidates who applied for the recruitment will be able to check their shortlisting status by logging in to their dashboard and checking their shortlisting status. Names of those selected applicants for the NIS will be uploaded there.
