Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri, as their first choice and obtained a minimum UTME score of 150.
Alternatively, candidates who did not initially select IMSU but meet the required cut-off mark can apply by changing their first choice institution to Imo State University, Owerri, via the JAMB website.
Direct Entry candidates should hold OND/HND/First Degree, A’ Level qualifications, or their equivalents in relevant disciplines.
Aptitude Test Details

Make payment and fill out the form as presented on the website.
Print the payment and acknowledgement slips, then submit them to the Admissions Unit of Imo State University.
Payment can be made online with your card, or you can generate a reference number and pay physically at any bank branch before continuing the application process.
Upon successful payment, click to continue your application and access the application form.
Fill out the form completely and accurately before submitting it online.
In case of any incomplete applications, return to the admission portal to log in and complete the application before the closing date.
After submission, print the acknowledgement slip and bring it to the University on the scheduled Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening day.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants must ensure that their OND/HND/First Degree transcripts, O’ and A’ Level result(s), or their equivalents are forwarded to the Registrar, Imo State University, Owerri.
Every candidate must provide a valid email address and phone number.
All applications must be submitted online on or before the closing date.
