Job Title: Project Planning and Control Manager

Job Overview
- The Project Planning and Control Manager is responsible for providing overall project planning and control direction for the project.
- The position will work closely with the project management team to ensure that the project is planned and executed in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality, safety, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project schedule, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.
- Establish and maintain project controls, including cost management, risk management, and change management.
- Analyze project progress and performance against the project plan and budget, identify variances, and develop corrective actions.
- Monitor project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.
- Coordinate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure project activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with project team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Effective control and management of project life circle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant project management standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and mentor project control staff, including providing guidance, feedback, and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project planning and control, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of project management software tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project control staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
