Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA) has officially announced its Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session. Aspiring candidates are invited to apply for admission into various programs offered by the university, which was founded in 2006 and is located in Aliero, Kebbi State, Nigeria.
Important Dates:
The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration started on Monday, 14th August 2023, and the deadline for application submission is on Monday, 11th September, 2023.
Cut-off Mark:
The general UTME cut-off mark for KSUSTA for the 2023/2024 academic session is 140. However, certain courses may require a higher score. Interested candidates can find the full list of departmental cut-off marks on the official KSUSTA website.
Application Fee:
The application fee for the KSUSTA Post UTME/DE Screening is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only. This fee is non-refundable and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL, with additional bank charges applicable.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have chosen KSUSTA as their preferred choice during the UTME and Direct Entry registration.
- UTME candidates should have a minimum score of 140.
- Direct Entry candidates should have a Credit/Merit pass in HND, ND, NCE, IJMB, or equivalent in relevant areas from recognized tertiary institutions.
- Candidates must obtain the required O’level credits for their chosen programs as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
- Candidates who did not initially choose KSUSTA but wish to study in the university are advised to change their choice via the JAMB website.
Application Process:
- Log on to www.ksusta.net and click on BUY POST UTME RRR CODE to select the screening type (UTME or D.E).
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and other details to generate the RRR Code invoice.
- Proceed to any bank nationwide for payment of ₦2,000, then return to www.ksusta.net and click on APPLY ONLINE to enter your purchased RRR Code to create a Screening Account.
- Upload your recent photograph on the Screening Form and submit after completing the form.
- Print your Acknowledgement Slip and a copy of the Online Screening Form.
Screening Exercise Details:
The physical screening of candidates will take place at various faculties/departments on specified dates and times. Candidates should refer to the official schedule for their respective faculties.
Documents Required for Screening:
Candidates are required to present the following documents at the screening venue:
- Original and photocopies of their credentials.
- Original and photocopy of UTME result slip/DE JAMB slip.
- Evidence of payment for Post UTME/DE screening (non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 only).
- Acknowledgment Slip and a copy of the Online Screening Form.
Conclusion:
Successful candidates will receive notification from JAMB via SMS or email, informing them of their admission into KSUSTA. It is important to note that admission is strictly by merit, and candidates are advised to avoid fraudulent individuals claiming to be KSUSTA agents.
