Are you aspiring to join the prestigious University of Lagos for the 2023/2024 academic year? The much-anticipated online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise is just around the corner, scheduled to commence from Monday, 10th to Friday, 28th July, 2023. Here’s everything you need to know to navigate through the process successfully.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the screening, candidates must have selected the University of Lagos as their first choice in the 2023/2024 UTME and scored a minimum of 200. Additionally, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. It’s crucial to note that only candidates who have uploaded their O/Level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before 13th August, 2023, will be considered for admission.
Candidates should be at least sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October, 2023, to be eligible. Those who do not meet this age requirement need not apply. Non-participation in the Post-UTME Screening will result in the exclusion of candidates from the admission process.
Former students of the University, whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor academic performance or absence, have the opportunity to reapply. However, the new admission will be for a different programme/course than the one they were initially admitted to. Expelled students, unfortunately, cannot be offered fresh admission.
