Achievers University commenced academic activities on 2nd April, 2008. In the past eleven years, the University has matriculated 12 sets of students and graduated 9 sets of Achievers who are doing very well in all spheres of human endeavour across the nation and overseas. The University now fully operates at its permanent site at Kilometer 1, Idasen/Ute Road, Owo.
As a result of completion of tenure of some Principal Officers, and the need to reposition the University in order to sustain the remarkable achievements, we are currently seeking for exceptionally and professionally qualified staff with outstanding integrity, and demonstrable leadership to join the highly motivated team in moving the University forward in her next phase of growth and development within the capacity below:
Job Title: Chief Security Officer
Location: Owo, Ondo
Details
- The Chief Security Officer shall be responsible to the Vice- Chancellor in the day-to-day performance of his duties to ensure security of life and property at the University, advise and alert management in security situations in the University, liaise with other Security Agencies in the State with a view to providing security for the University Community, and shall undertake all other assignments from the Vice-Chancellor that will bring about adequate security forthe University.
Requirements
- The applicant should possess a good first Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant discipline obtained from a recognized Institution and a minimum of ten (10) years cognate experience.
- Experience in the service of the Nigerian Military, Police, Department of State Security Services and/or other allied security agencies will be an added advantage.
