    Job Title: Customer Service Executive

    Location: Lagos

    Job Descriptions

    • Have you had experience in handling customers’ complaints and providing assistance to customers through account opening and maintenance as well as information on the banks products and services?
    • Do you ensure timely and exceptional service delivery to customers in order to delight them?

    Job Responsibilities

    • The role reports to the Head of Customer Service and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to;
    • Escalate all customer care issues to the Head of Customer Service / Service Manager and follow through on corrective measures.
    • Sell the Banks products and services to existing customers and intending prospects.
    • Ensure a seamless flow of business transactions by communicating necessary information to the customers and bank departments as required.
    • Disseminate basic technical knowledge of the products and services offered by the bank to internal and external customers.
    • Open all account types in the bank for various customers and ensure all accounts have complete documentation.
    • Treat customers request and instructions on their various accounts and ensure they are satisfied with the services provided.
    • Arrange all documents and account opening packages appropriately.
    • Request for transaction instruments e.g. cheque books, ATM cards etc. upon customers’ request.

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc. / HND qualification in any discipline.
    • Minimum of second class upper/lower credit.
    • Experience in Banking operations for at least 1 – 2 years
    • Not more than 27 years of age

    Job Title: Operations Assistant (Underwriter)

    Location: Lagos
    Duration: 3 – 4 months

    Job Purpose

    • The Trading / Operations specialist is a key member of the operations team supporting trade processes, data management, client reporting and portfolio management functions. Members of this team will work closely with and communicate to and from the Sales, Finance, Investment Management and Securities Trading teams.
    • The key requisites are strong computer skills, highly numerate, attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment and to tight deadlines.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • To comply with policies and procedures of the company’s Operations Manual, which include but not limited to the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Investment and Securities Act (ISA) and to follow and implement all SEC, NSE and ISA changes as they occur.

    • To contribute to productivity, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to drive exceptional client service and risk mitigation

    Experience, Education, Required Skills and Job Specific Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
    • 3 – 4 years previous experience preferred but not required
    • Knowledge of equities, bonds, treasury bills, and the intricacies of pricing, corporate actions and settlement activities specific to each
    • A friendly professional demeanour and ability to excel in a team oriented environment
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel
    • He should be able to endure immense work pressure and be very dependable.
    • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
    • Ability to learn and adapt to change
    • Account Creation (CSCS, Zanibal)
    • Sending of Welcome mail and E-statement to clients
    • Certificate Management
    • Registrars and CSCS runs
    • Corporate action capture and processing
    • Reconciliations
    • Creation and cancellation of units
    • Managing internal unit holder registers
    • Liaising with banks, trustees, registrars, etc.
    • Complete subscription and redemption documentation and procedures
    • Receipt of subscription monies and payment of redemption proceeds
    • Perform other duties as required

    • Carry out all other bank services as delegated by the Head of Customer Service or Service Manager.
    • Initiate and set up Alert, Online and Mobile Banking (FVTM & CFTM) services.
    • Initiate linking / hot listing and blocking / unblocking of debit cards.
    • Issue ID cards / thumb prints and ensures proper modification of customer account information on request.
    • Send out / respond to external account reference enquiries, confirm status of internal account reference.
    • Ensure timely rendering of reports and issuance of ad hoc statements of account to customers.

    Job Requirements

    • First Degree in any discipline
    • BSc / HND with minimum of second class lower grade
    • Experience in Banking operations for at least 1 – 2 years will be an added advantage
    • Not more than 28 years of age
