KASU Part-time Undergraduate Degree Admission For 2023/2024 Session

The School of Continuing Education at Kaduna State University, Kakuri Campus, is excited to invite suitable candidates to apply for admission into its Part-Time Degree Programs for the Academic Session, which runs from October 24th to November 23rd, 2023.

Entry Requirements:

To be eligible for these programs, prospective candidates must meet the following entry requirements:

a). Minimum Five (5) Relevant Passes:

• Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) relevant passes at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by recognized Examination Bodies. These passes should be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings, including a credit pass in both English and Mathematics.

b). Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

• DE candidates must meet the minimum Five (5) O’ level relevant credits, including English and Mathematics, and obtain the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the program. For example, candidates with NCE or Diploma qualifications will be considered for admission into 200 level.

c). Top-Up Candidates:

• Top-Up candidates should have the minimum Five (5) O’ level relevant credits, including English and Mathematics. Additionally, they must obtain HND (Credit) or B.Sc. (with third class) qualifications for admission into 400 level.

Method of Application:

Interested applicants can start their journey by visiting the University Application Portal: http://forms.kasu.edu.ng and filling out the online application form. Once the online application is complete, candidates are required to visit the school campus with the fully filled printed application form and all relevant documents for clearance and screening.

Duration:

The duration of the programs varies based on the level of entry:

• Candidates admitted from 100 levels will spend a minimum of 5 academic sessions.
• Candidates admitted from 200 levels will spend a minimum of 4 academic sessions.
• Candidates admitted from 400 levels will spend a minimum of 2 academic sessions.

Upon graduation, candidates will be awarded either a B.Sc. or B.A. degree, depending on their chosen program.
