Job Title: Relationship Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos State
Reporting Line: Head, Business Development

Job Description

  • Prospect, acquire and manage the portfolio of clients’ deposit (sustain and grow a portfolio of clients by building long term relationships).
  • Prepare action sales and call plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
  • Active and consistent engagement of new and existing clients to increase fund placement
  • Proactive management of all clients’ relationship by providing regular updates on status of their accounts including regular market updates to improve the client’s awareness
  • Business development for both new and existing clients with a view to increasing penetration
  • Assume primary responsibility for understanding the client’s business at a strategic and operational levels.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to enhance product and market knowledge to improve the company’s product offerings.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. certificate in any discipline
  • Five (5) O ’Level Credit Passes including English and Mathematics
  • Good selling and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of customers
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under short-term deadlines whilst maintaining detailed accuracy
  • Must have basic knowledge in Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Financial industry
  • Relies on limited supervision to plan and accomplish goals
  • High degree of creativity
  • 3-4 years in sales and relationship management role in a financial and investment services company.
