Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This screening is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission into EKSU, including those who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 180 and above in the 2025 UTME and are interested in changing their institution to EKSU.
Eligibility Criteria:
- UTME Candidates: Must have chosen EKSU and scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 UTME. Candidates who did not initially choose EKSU but scored 180 and above can also apply, provided they change their institution to EKSU through the JAMB CAPS platform.
- Direct Entry Candidates: Should possess a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualifications. Direct Entry candidates interested in changing their choice to EKSU will be considered.
- O’Level Requirements: All candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Application Procedure:
- Visit the EKSU Admission Portal: Navigate to https://eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng/.
- Sign Up: Create an account by providing a valid email address and personal phone number.
- Login: Use your email address or JAMB registration number as the username and the password created during sign-up to access your dashboard.
- Select Application Type: Choose “2025/2026 PUTME application” for UTME candidates or the appropriate option for Direct Entry candidates.
- Payment: Click on “PAY NOW” to make a payment of ₦2,000 for the screening form via the Remita platform.
- Complete the Application: Upload a 1″ x 1″ colored passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format, and provide details of your O’Level results.
- Submit and Print: After completing the form, preview, confirm, submit, and print out the completed screening form for your records.
Important Notes:
- The screening exercise is strictly online; there will be no physical examination.
- Candidates awaiting their O’Level results should not apply until these results are available.
- Direct Entry candidates must process their transcripts to reach EKSU via email at admissions.registration@eksu.edu.ng on or before June 30, 2025; otherwise, their applications will not be considered.
- Providing false information during the application process will lead to automatic disqualification.
