Admission Requirements
The general admission requirements for KASU’s postgraduate programs are as follows:
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level in a maximum of two sittings.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university not lower than Third Class, or HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a related field.
Master’s Degree Programs:
- Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level in a maximum of two sittings.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) from KASU or any recognized university.
- Candidates with a Third Class degree or HND plus a Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of not less than 3.50 may also be considered.
Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) Programs:
- Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at O’Level in a maximum of two sittings.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant fields from KASU or any recognized university, with a minimum CGPA of 4.00 in Sciences and 3.50 in other fields.
- Submission of a tentative research proposal of 1000-1500 words is required during application.
