The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) invites qualified candidates to apply for its 2023/2024 academic session Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise. Application Details:
- Commencement of Sales:
- The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration starts on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023.
Cut Off Mark:
- ESUT general UTME cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is 160. Some courses may have higher requirements; refer to the official ESUT Departmental Cut Off Marks for details.
Application Fee:
- The Post UTME/DE Application Fee is N2,000.00 and should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, and appropriate bank charges may apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have chosen ESUT as their preferred institution.
- UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 160.
- Five O’ Level credits, including English and Mathematics, are required.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
- Candidates who did not initially choose ESUT but wish to apply should effect the change via the JAMB website.
Application Process:
- Upload ‘O’ Level results on the JAMB website (CAPS) at the nearest JAMB Office or accredited CBT Centre.
- Visit the ESUT portal (www.portal.esut.edu.ng) and click on “2023/2024 Admission Screening Registration” under Regular Students.
- Enter JAMB Registration Number and generate an invoice.
- Pay the application fee through the provided payment options (bank branch or debit card).
- Return to the application page, re-enter JAMB Registration Number, complete the form, confirm entries, and submit the application.
- Print out the acknowledgment slip.
Available Programmes/Courses:
- ESUT offers a variety of programs across different faculties, including Agriculture, Applied Natural Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Education, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences, Law, Social Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Application Closing Date:
- The deadline for online submission of the application form is Thursday, 31st August, 2023.
Important Notes:
- Candidates must upload their O’ Level results in JAMB approved CBT Centres.
- Candidates awaiting NABTEB, WAEC, and NECO results for 2023 are eligible to apply, but results released after 30th September 2023 will not be accepted.
- Consistency in names on certificates and registration documents is crucial.
