Are you gearing up for the NABTEB November/December Certificate Examinations? Here’s your essential guide to navigate through the registration process, examination rules, and important details to ensure a smooth experience.

PURCHASE OF REGISTRATION PINs:

Registration PINs for private candidates are available for purchase at various NABTEB offices nationwide. Ensure you obtain a Registration PIN for each candidate from designated selling points.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES:

  • Entries must conform to the Board’s regulations to avoid rejection.
  • Exam dates and times are provided on the timetable and the Board’s website. Check for updates at least 3 days before the exams.
  • The Board reserves the right to cancel results for malpractice and irregularities.
  • Candidates are responsible for their materials, and only three changes are allowed for trades/subjects after registration.

MATERIALS ALLOWED FOR THE EXAMINATIONS:

  • Candidates should bring their pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and mathematical sets.
  • Drawing materials, including a drawing board, Tee-square, metric scale ruler, and other instruments, are required for specific subjects.
  • Simple, non-programmable calculators are allowed, while electronic gadgets, including GSM handsets, are prohibited.

DATE AND TIME OF EXAMINATION:

  • Check the timetable and arrive at least 30 minutes before the paper’s commencement.
  • No candidate is allowed to leave the hall until specified times.

EXAMINATION RULES:

  • Strict adherence to the Examination Malpractice Act No. 33 of 1999 is crucial.
  • Candidates must not bring unauthorized materials into the hall, communicate during exams, or disobey instructions.
  • The Board is not responsible for the loss of personal property.
  • Report malpractice or irregularities with proof directly to the Board.

PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS:

  • Candidates for practical exams must provide their tools.
  • For ICT, candidates may bring their computers/laptops, exercising care in handling.
  • Candidates are responsible for procuring materials for practical papers.

IRREGULAR ENTRIES:

  • No results for unregistered papers; report discrepancies immediately.
  • Multiple entries or enrollment in conflicting subjects will be invalidated.

PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH:

  • Upload a colored passport photograph with a red background and specific dimensions.
  • Use of Webcam passports is not allowed.

ADMISSION NOTICE FORM:

  • Download and bring the admission notice form to the examination hall for all registered papers.

PERSONAL DATA:

  • Provide accurate personal information, including name, address, date of birth, and gender.

ENROLMENT FOR BOTH ORDINARY AND ADVANCED CRAFTS:

  • Enroll in either NBC and ANBC or NTC and ANTC subjects, not both, in the same series.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES:

  • Enroll in only one trade to avoid invalidation of entries.

TRADE, TRADE-RELATED AND TRADE COMPONENTS:

  • Examination centers must adhere to approved trades to prevent entry invalidation.

CORRESPONDENCE AFTER SUBMISSION OF ENTRY:

Include full name, examination number, year of examination/series, examination center, trade name/code, and contact details in all correspondences.

VISUALLY-CHALLENGED CANDIDATES:

  • Visual-challenged candidates must notify the Board of their specific needs for appropriate arrangements.
