Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session. Prospective candidates are invited to take note of the eligibility criteria, cut-off marks, application cost, and crucial registration details outlined below.
Eligibility:
- Candidates who selected Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, or its affiliate institutions as their first choice in the 2023 UTME and meet the specified cut-off marks are eligible to apply.
- Applicants who did not initially choose NAU as their first choice university but scored within the eligible cut-off marks for any faculty/program can also apply, provided they undertake a change of institution on the JAMB website.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level qualifications in relevant disciplines and subjects.
Cut-off Marks:
- Faculties/Programmes with a cut-off mark of 200: Law, Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, Health Science & Technology (Envr. Health Science, Human Nutrition, Med. Lab Science, Med. Rehab/Physiotherapy, Nursing Science, Radiography).
- Faculties/Programmes with a cut-off mark of 180: Arts (Chinese, English Language, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Theater Arts), Basic Medical Science (Anatomy and Physiology), Biosciences (Applied Biochemistry, Applied Microbiology), Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Computer, Mechanical & Petroleum), Management Sciences (Accountancy, Business Administration), Physical Sciences (Computer Science), Social Sciences (Economics, Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology).
- Faculties/Programmes with a cut-off mark of 160: Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences, Arts (Igbo, Religion, Modern European Language, and Music), Biosciences (Botany, Parasitology & Entomology, Zoology), Engineering (Agric & Bio-Resources, Industrial Production, Metallurgical & Material, Polymer & Textile), Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Geological Science, Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Physics, Pure & Industrial Chemistry, Statistics), and all Affiliate Institutions.
Application Cost and Deadline:
- The application cost is N2000.
- The registration period is from August 10th, 2023, to September 30th, 2023.
- The deadline for the change of course or institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University is September 16th, 2023.
- Compulsory upload of O’level results (and A’level results for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS ends on September 16th, 2023.
Registration Procedures:
- Registration starts on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, and ends on Saturday, September 30th, 2023.
- Change of course or institution into NAU must be completed by Saturday, September 16th, 2023. Any changes made after this date will not be valid.
- Compulsory upload of O’level results (and A’level results for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS also ends on Saturday, September 16th, 2023.
- Visit http://apply.unizik.edu.ng to create a UNIZIK application account using your email, phone number, and password.
- Validate your account by entering the code sent to your email/phone number.
- Log in with your username and password, click on the 2023 Post-UTME application, and link your JAMB registration profile to your account.
- Click on “pay online” on the invoice to pay the N2000 fee online or print the invoice and pay at the bank.
- Return to the website to complete the registration process.
