Admission Requirements
Candidates interested in the Basic Studies program must meet the following admission requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, and any three (3) other subjects relevant to the chosen course of study.
- The credits should be obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/WASCE, GCE O/L, NECO, or NABTEB.
Admission into the program is through a University Screening Test, which will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Successful candidates at the end of the program will be admitted into the 200 level of various degree programs at the University of Uyo or any Nigerian University through the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), provided they satisfy the admission criteria for their desired program.
