The University of Port Harcourt has officially announced the commencement of the Post-UTME screening registration for the 2023/2024 academic session. Prospective candidates who selected UNIPORT as their First Choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieved a minimum score of 150 are invited to participate in the screening exercise. Here are the essential details you need to know:
Online Registration Period:
- The registration process will begin on Monday, 3rd July 2023, and conclude on Monday, 31st July 2023.
- Candidates are required to log in to the official UNIPORT website (www.uniport.edu.ng) during the stipulated registration period.
Registration Procedure:
- Eligible candidates should input their UTME Registration Number and confirm pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate a Remita Code for payment using Master, Visa, or Verve Card. Alternatively, print out the Payment Slip and make payment of N2,000.00 at designated banks (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK).
- Obtain a Remita Receipt showing an Access Code from the Bank Teller confirming the payment.
- Log in online again with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code on the payment slip from Monday, 3rd July 2023.
- Complete the form online as requested, indicating if you are awaiting your O’Level Result(s).
- Click on the “submit button” and print the Registration Slip for the Screening Exercise.
2023 Post-UTME Screening Schedule:

Important Notes:
- Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated period will not be eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

- Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or above by October 2023 to be eligible for the exercise.
- Mobile phones and other electronic devices are prohibited in the screening venue and its environs.
- Registration is strictly online, and candidates are not required to be physically present on the University campus.
- Those who initially selected UNIPORT as their second choice must make a change to the University as their first choice to be eligible for the screening exercise.
- O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible, as candidates without uploaded results will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates must register using valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
