Admission Requirements:

1. Educational Background:
   • Candidates must possess five credit passes, including English and Mathematics, and other relevant subjects at the O’ Level.
   • For Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma, a good (First or second class) Honours Degree from UNIJOS or other recognized universities is required. The degree must be in a discipline relevant to the desired program.

2. For M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes:

   • Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline.
   • M.Phil/Ph.D candidates should have a Cumulative Score Average (CSA) of 60% and above in the final assessment result for the Master’s Degree and 60% and above in the Research Project.
   • M.Phil/Ph.D candidates will initially register for M.Phil and may be upgraded to Ph.D registration based on satisfactory performance.

3. Additional Requirements:

   • Degree result transcripts are mandatory for all admissions.
   • All advertised programs will run on a full-time basis.

How to Apply for UNIJOS Postgraduate Admission:

Step 1: Create an Account

1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng.
2. Click on “FORMS APPLICATION.”
3. Select “Masters Programme.”
4. Fill in the Account Registration Form and click “Register.”
5. Activate your account through the link sent to your email.

Step 2: Pay Application Form Charge

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click on “Application Charge” and then “Pay Application Charges.”
3. Select your preferred payment option and provide the required details.
4. Follow the prompts until payment is successful.
5. Print the receipt upon successful payment.

Step 3: Fill in the Application Form

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click on “My Profile.”
3. Click on “Add/Edit Bio-Data” and complete the online application form.
4. Ensure all tabs (bio-data, result, sponsor, next of kin, passport, and signature upload) are correctly filled.
5. Click “Submit” when all tabs are completed. A form will be generated for you; print and keep it for future reference.
