IBBU Post-UTME/DE Form, Eligibility And Screening Details – 2025/2026

Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, is preparing for the 2025/2026 academic session by inviting applications for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercises. Prospective students who selected IBBU as their first choice during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration are encouraged to participate.

Eligibility Criteria:

• UTME Candidates: Applicants must have a minimum UTME score of 150. Additionally, they should possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings of SSCE, NECO, or WASC examinations.

• Direct Entry Candidates: Applicants should have one of the following qualifications:
  • Two credit passes at the advanced level with SSCE/GCE O’ level credit passes in five relevant subjects.
  • Upper Credit at the National Diploma with SSCE/GCE O’ level credit passes in five relevant subjects.
  • Credit passes in two major subjects in the NCE with SSCE/GCE O’ level credits in five relevant subjects.
  • Two passes at a minimum of C grade in the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examinations with SSCE/GCE O’ level credit passes in five relevant subjects.

  A credit pass in Mathematics and English Language is required for all courses.

Application Procedure:

1. Eligibility Check: Visit the IBBU Post-UTME Screening Portal to confirm eligibility by entering your JAMB Registration Number.
2. Payment Process: Upon confirmation, generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and pay a screening fee of N2,000. Payment can be made via Interswitch Branch Collect or Interswitch webPAY.
3. Result Submission: After payment, log in to the portal to submit your O’Level results and other required information. Ensure that all details are accurately provided to avoid disqualification.
