Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) invites qualified candidates to apply for its 2023/2024 academic session Direct Entry Screening Exercise. Application Details:
- Commencement of Sales: The sale of the online screening form/registration begins on Tuesday, 29th August 2023.
- Application Fee: The Direct Entry Application Fee is N10,300, payable through the ADMISSION PORTAL. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, and candidates should consider appropriate bank charges.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who selected LAUTECH as their preferred choice during Direct Entry (DE) registration.
- Minimum qualifications for Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science applicants: Credit pass in five relevant O’ level subjects at one sitting, as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
- Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Change of Institution: Candidates who did not initially choose LAUTECH but wish to study there should change their choice via the JAMB website.
Application Procedure:
- Visit the university’s admission portal at https://apply.lautech.edu.ng/.
- Make a non-refundable payment of N10,300 using Inter-Switch enabled Debit Cards (ATM).
- Complete and submit the online application form.
- Upload a digital scanned passport photograph with a white background (JPEG format, not exceeding 20KB).
- After successful registration, print the acknowledgement page as confirmation.
- Application Deadline: The deadline for online submission is Friday, 20th October 2023.
Direct Entry Screening Exercise:
- Screening Date: The oral and written screening interview is scheduled for Monday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
- Transcript Submission: Direct Entry applicants, including those from LAUTECH JUPEB and other institutions’ JUPEB programs, must obtain DE forms from JAMB. Transcripts should be forwarded to the Registrar, LAUTECH, not later than one (1) week before the screening interview.
- Important Note: Failure to attend the scheduled interview will result in automatic disqualification.
Additional Information:
- Before admission, candidates must upload their O’Level results on CAPS and accept/reject the admission offer before JAMB’s closure of CAPS.
- Candidates awaiting results from NABTEB, NECO, and WASC can apply, but uploaded results must align with JAMB CAPS timelines.
- Consistency in names on all documents is crucial.
- Late completion/submission of forms will not be accepted.
- Blurred pictures on the acknowledgement page will lead to disqualification.
