Entry Requirements:
General Requirements:
Candidates must possess a minimum of four (4) credit passes, including English Language, in any of the following examinations:
- Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)
- General Certificate of Education (GCE)
- National Technical Certificate (NTC)
- National Business Certificate (NBC)
- City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate
- Federal Craft Training Certificate
- Teachers Grade II Certificate (TCII)
Specific Requirements:
- Business Education: Four (4) O’Level credits including English Language and any three (3) from Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, ICT, or any business/vocational subject.
- Computer Science: Four (4) O’Level credits including English Language and any three (3) from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, ICT, or NTC subjects.
- Home Economics: Four (4) O’Level credits including English Language and any three (3) relevant subjects from Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Food Science & Nutrition, and Home Economics.
- Industrial Technology Education: Four (4) O’Level credits including English Language and any three (3) from Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, ICT, or NTC subjects.
Application Procedure:
- Online Registration: Visit the BSUM portal, navigate to the applications section, and select “Pre-Voc & Tech.” Complete the pre-registration form and submit it to generate an application number.
- Payment of Application Fee: With the printed pre-registration form, proceed to Fidelity Bank and pay a non-refundable application fee of five thousand naira (₦5,000) using the generated application number.
- Completion of Application: After payment, return to the BSUM portal, access the Preliminary Vocational and Technical Studies application section, complete the form, and submit it.
- Submission of Documents: Print the completed application form and attach photocopies of the following credentials:
- Payment receipt
- WASSCE and/or NECO results
- Local Government Certificate of Origin
- Birth Certificate
- Three (3) passport photographs
