Admission Requirements for HND Programs
- Possession of National Diploma (ND) from Auchi Polytechnic or equivalent NBTE-accredited institution.
- JAMB admission with an admission letter and registration number for ND program.
- Five (5) O-level credit passes at one sitting or Six (6) O-level credit passes at two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language.
- At least one year Post ND Industrial Experience (IT) or two (2) years Post ND for certain programs.
- Departmental requirements must also be met.
Professional Diploma Programs
Professional Diploma in Building Technology
- Minimum of lower credit pass in HND in Building Technology or equivalent NBTE-accredited qualification.
- Satisfactory completion of NYSC or evidence of exemption.
- Full-time course duration: 18 calendar months (three semesters).
Professional Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning
- Minimum of upper credit in HND in Urban and Regional Planning from Auchi Polytechnic or NBTE-accredited institution.
- Satisfactory completion of NYSC or lower credit plus two years post-qualification cognate experience and NYSC completion.
- O’Level requirements or pass with three years post-qualification cognate experience and NYSC completion.
Method of Application
- Visit the Auchi Polytechnic website: www.auchipoly.edu.ng
- Click on the desired portal (morning, evening, or degree).
- Select “Apply for 2023/2024 Auchi Polytechnic HND OR PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA.”
- Complete the application form with accurate information.
- Provide a username (preferably your phone number) and a password. Keep these details safe for future logins.
- Click “Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).”
- Take the generated RRR to the designated bank and pay a non-refundable application and screening fee of N20,000.00 in favor of Auchi Polytechnic Treasury Single Account (TSA).
