How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS:
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal at https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and log in with your registered email address and password.
- Access your dashboard and click on ‘Check Admission Status.’
- Click on ‘Access my CAPS.’
- Select ‘Admission Status’ to view if you have been offered admission.
For candidates offered admission:
- Click “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate your acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.
- If your status shows “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted,” keep checking as it may change.
Important Instructions for PLAPOLY Registration:
- Beware of Fraudsters: Be cautious of individuals or cyber cafés claiming to assist with registration. They are not affiliated with Plateau State Polytechnic, and dealing with them is at your own risk.
- Registration Period: Ensure timely registration within the stipulated period. Failure to adhere will result in a non-refundable late registration fee of N10,000 or forfeiture of your admission.
Acceptance Fee Payment:
- Log in to the student portal, navigate to the “New Student” section, and sign in.
- Click on payment, select the payment type, and provide the required information.
- Print the receipt on the portal and the one sent to your email.
- Proceed to the Bursary Department for confirmation before further registration.
- Attestation Letter: Obtain an attestation letter from a recognized clergy, Imam, senior civil servant (Director or higher), or top military/para-military personnel for registration.
Certificate Verification:
- Present original certificates at the Academic division for screening/verification.
- Required documents include original O’level and A’level certificates, indigene form, birth certificate, one-year industrial training letter (for HND candidates), bio-data form, screening fee receipt, and acceptance fee receipt.
- HND candidates from other institutions need to apply for an Academic Transcript.
