In a significant announcement, the National Examination Council (NECO) has officially released the results for the 2023 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE). Wushishi revealed that 93 schools were implicated in large-scale cheating during the examination. Additionally, 52 supervisors were suggested for blacklisting due to inadequate supervision and their involvement in aiding and abetting cheating. The Registrar emphasized that the implicated schools would be summoned for a discussion, after which suitable sanctions would be imposed.
Special Needs Candidates:
A notable aspect of the results is the inclusion of candidates with special needs. Among the 1,542 candidates classified under this category, there were 913 candidates with hearing impairment, 162 with visual impairment, 103 with Albinism, 61 with Autism, 149 with low vision, and 154 with Adermatoglyphia, a condition characterized by the absence of fingerprints.
