Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Origin: Must be an indigene of one of the Niger Delta states: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers.
- Academic Qualifications:
- For Master’s Degree applicants: Minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- For Ph.D. applicants: A good Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Admission Status: Must have secured admission into a recognized foreign university for a postgraduate program in one of the eligible fields of study.
- Age Limit: Not more than 30 years for Master’s applicants and 35 years for Ph.D. applicants.
- NYSC Status: Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
