The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has released the list of successful candidates who will proceed to the next stage of the selection process. If your name is on the list, congratulations! Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) interview at the NDA Ribadu Campus, Kaduna.
Interview Schedule:
The interview process is divided into two batches:
Batch 1: Candidates from Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, FCT, Imo, Kano Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Osun, and Taraba are scheduled to report from Saturday, 27 May, to Friday, 16 June 2023.
Batch 2: Candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Edo, Enugu, Ekiti, Gombe, Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa, Ondo, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Yobe, and Zamfara are to report from Saturday, 17 June, to Friday, 7 July 2023.
Important Dates:
Candidates must report on the specified dates for their respective batches. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Additionally, candidates from Batch 2 must avoid the NDA premises before Saturday, 17 June 2023, to maintain eligibility.
Required Documentation:
Candidates should bring the following original documents and their photocopies:
- JAMB UTME Result Slip 2021.
- Acknowledgement Form and NDA Screening Test Admission Card.
- Academic Certificates/Statements of Result and Testimonials for Primary and Secondary Schools (Junior and Senior).
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
- Letter of Attestation of State/Local Government Indigeneship.
- Letter of Consent from Parent/Guardian.
For Local Government Indigeneship, a certification from a military officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and above can be used.
Screening Exercise:
The screening exercise will involve document verification, medical and physical fitness tests, individual/group obstacles, and a 3.2km race. Only candidates who pass this stage will proceed to the interview.
Additional Items to Bring:
Candidates are required to bring the following items:
- Writing materials.
- Three blue shorts and 3 white (round-neck) T-shirts.
- A pair of white canvas shoes and 3 pairs of white socks.
- Toiletries.
- Non-refundable fee of N2,500.00 each for verification/confirmation of results at WAEC/NECO.
- Scratch cards for WAEC and/or NECO results for online confirmation of results.
- Four recent colored passport photographs.
- The second copy of Postcard Photograph presented and endorsed at the Exam Centre during the NDA Screening Test.
