Modibbo Adama University of Technology, formerly known as the Federal University of Technology, Yola, is a research-intensive university in northeastern Nigeria founded by the Federal Government of Nigeria to provide the country’s much-needed technologically skilled people. Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola MAUTECH Admission Requirements
To be admitted to Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola MAUTECH prospective students must meet specific entrance standards.
Undergraduate Admissions Requirements:
- O’level Results: Prospective students must have at least five credit passes in the required courses, including Mathematics and English Language, from no more than two sittings of WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
- JAMB UTME: Prospective students must take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieve the minimal UTME cut-off mark established by JAMB, which is often 180 or 200 depending on the program.
- Prospective students must also take the university’s post-UTME screening exam and achieve the required score to be considered for admission.
- Direct Entry: Candidates seeking admission to the university through the Direct Entry program must have at least Upper Credit or comparable qualifications in relevant disciplines from accredited institutions.
