LAUTECH Post-UTME/DE Screening Form For 2023/2024 session

We are pleased to inform all candidates who selected Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) as their first choice in the 2023/2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry that the admission portal for various programs will be open from Tuesday, August 29, 2023, to Friday, October 20, 2023.

Key Dates and Requirements:

1. Registration Period:

   • Start Date: Tuesday, August 29, 2023
   • End Date: Friday, October 20, 2023

2. Direct Entry Interviews:

   • Dates: Monday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 24, 2023

3. Admission Eligibility Criteria:

   • UTME candidates must have scored 180 marks and above in the 2023/2024 UTME.
   • Direct Entry candidates must undergo oral and written interviews.

Application Process:

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Visit the admission portal at apply.lautech.edu.ng.
2. Make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) for the post UTME exercise using an Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM card).
3. Familiarize yourself with available programs, O’Level entry requirements, and UTME subject combinations.
4. Complete and submit the online application form, including uploading a clear passport photograph in white background (JPEG format, not exceeding 20kb).

Important Reminders:

• Blurred photographs on the acknowledgement page will result in non-admittance to the screening center.
• Ensure names on all documents, including O’Level results and state of origin, are consistent.
• Provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers for communication purposes.

Special Notes for Direct Entry Candidates:

• Obtain Direct Entry forms from JAMB.
• Forward transcripts to the Registrar, LAUTECH, one week before the screening interview.

Eligibility and Program-Specific Requirements:

• UTME applicants must have a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB.
• National Diploma candidates, NCE, HND, RNS, and JUPEB for Direct Entry must have a minimum of Upper Credit with five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
• Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science applicants require at least a Credit pass in five (5) relevant O’Level subjects at one sitting.
• Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years old for admission.

Final Words of Caution:

Applicants are advised to carefully study the university brochure available on the admission portal to guide them in completing their application forms. Providing false information may lead to prosecution and withdrawal of admission.
