Admission Details:
Commencement of Online Screening Form Sale:
- The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration starts on Wednesday, 30th August, 2023.
UTME Cut-Off Mark:
- The general UTME cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is 170.
Departmental Cut-Off Marks:
- Some courses may require cut-off marks higher than 170. Candidates can find the full list of PLASU Departmental cut-off marks on the PLASU website.
Application Fee:
- The Post UTME/DE Application Fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only.
- The fee should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL, and candidates are advised to be aware of appropriate bank charges.
Eligibility Criteria:
- UTME candidates must score a minimum of 170 and above.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess qualifications such as Degrees, HND, ND (with a minimum of Lower Credit), and IJMB (with a minimum of 7 points).
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
Application Process:
- Candidates who selected Plateau State University as their First Choice during UTME/DE registration can proceed with the application.
- Interested candidates who did not initially choose PLASU can change their choice via the JAMB website.
- The application process includes uploading O’ LEVEL RESULTS to the JAMB website (CAPS).
Application Deadline:
- The deadline for online submission of the application form is Thursday, 14th September, 2023.
Mode of Screening:
- PLASU’s screening process will be conducted online.
Beware of Fraud:
- Candidates are warned against fraudsters and cybercrime. Admission is directly through the University and JAMB, not through any third party or agent.
How to Apply:
- Visit the University portal: sis.plasu.edu.ng.
- Select “Application forms” from the menu and click on “UTME/DE APPLICATION.”
- Fill in your JAMB Registration Number for verification.
- Enter a valid email address and create a secure password.
- Confirm your email through a link sent to your email address.
- Log in and complete the application process.
- Generate an RRR and proceed to make payment.
- Pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).
- Upload a recent passport photograph and submit the required O’ LEVEL RESULTS.
- Complete the registration process and print the confirmation slip.
