Application Commencement Date:
The sale of the online Screening Form/Registration starts on Monday, 4th September 2023.
Application Fee:
The DELSU Direct Entry Application Fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only, payable through the ADMISSION PORTAL. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, and additional bank charges apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Direct Entry screening, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Choose Delta State University as their First Choice during Direct Entry Registration.
- Obtain the required O’level credits for their chosen programs as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
- Note that Mathematics credits are necessary for all Science-based Courses.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Application Process:
- Visit www.portal.delsu.edu.ng to generate a virtual PIN at a cost of N2,000.00.
- Make payment at any of the specified banks (Unity Bank, UBA, Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, Ecobank Plc).
- Ensure correct entry of Jamb Registration Number and Names as errors will not be entertained.
- Follow these steps to complete the application:
- Click Apply for Admission
- Click Start
- Select screening exercise
- Click Apply
- Complete the form with a valid JAMB Registration Number
- Submit the form and generate the PIN
- Print out the generated PIN
- Visit the specified banks for payment or pay online
- After payment, return to portal.delsu.edu.ng to print the acknowledgment slip.
Important Notes:
- Use the virtual PIN for payment immediately, as it becomes invalid after six (6) hours.
- Read the instructions on the website before completing the form.
- Enter a valid mobile phone number and e-mail address for communication.
Application Closing Date:
The online submission of the application form closes at 6.00 pm on Friday, 15th September 2023.
Screening Exercise Details:

Candidates are required to come with photocopies of the following documents:
- O’Level result
- JAMB registration slip
- DE acknowledgment slip
- ND/JUPEB/IJMB/NCE/AL result
