About The School
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, (FUNAAB), was founded by the Federal Government on January 1, 1988, after four universities of technology that had previously joined in 1984 were demerged. And as a result of that Abeokuta and Makurdi became the first two agricultural universities.

To be admitted to Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta FUNAAB, prospective students must meet specific entrance standards.
Undergraduate Admissions Requirements:
- O’level Results: Prospective students must have at least five credit passes in the required courses, including Mathematics and English Language, from no more than two sittings of WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
- JAMB UTME: Prospective students must take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieve the minimal UTME cut-off mark established by JAMB, which is often 180 or 200 depending on the program.
- Prospective students must also take the university’s post-UTME screening exam and achieve the required score to be considered for admission.
- Direct Entry: Candidates seeking admission to the university through the Direct Entry program must have at least Upper Credit or comparable qualifications in relevant disciplines from accredited institutions.

- First Degree: Prospective postgraduate students must have a first degree from a recognized university in a relevant field of study with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
