General Entry Requirements:
3-Year Programmes:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of lower credit in a relevant discipline.
- HND with a pass and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in a related field.
- University first degree with at least a pass in a relevant discipline.
4-Year Programmes:
- National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of lower credit in a relevant discipline.
5-Year Programmes:
- O’Level certificate with at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Specific Entry Requirements:
Business and Management Courses (e.g., B.Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Finance):
- Five O’Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two other relevant subjects such as Geography, Government, or Commerce.
Social Sciences (e.g., B.Sc. Economics, B.Sc. Sociology):
- Five O’Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and relevant Social Science subjects.
Arts and Humanities (e.g., B.A. History and International Studies, B.A. English and Literary Studies):
- Five O’Level credit passes including English Language and other relevant Arts subjects.
Science and Technology (e.g., B.Sc. Mathematics, B.Sc. Statistics):
- Five O’Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and relevant Science subjects.
Application Procedure:
- Visit the EKSU Portal: Go to https://eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng/.
- Create an Account: Click on ‘ADMISSION’ and sign up by providing the required details, including a valid email address and phone number. A verification email will be sent to you.
- Login to Your Dashboard: Use your email or JAMB registration number as your username and the password you created during sign-up.
- Select Application Type: Choose ‘2025/2026 Part-Time application’ from the available options.
- Make Payment: Click on ‘PAY NOW’ to proceed to the REMITA payment platform. The application form fee is ₦17,100.
- Complete the Application Form: After successful payment, fill out the application form. Upload a 1″ x 1″ coloured passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format and your O’Level results obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Submit and Print: Review your application, submit it, and print out the completed form for your records.

- All O’Level requirements must be met in no more than two sittings.
- Part-time programmes are offered on both weekdays and weekends, except for B.Sc. Computer Science, which runs only on weekdays.
