We are excited to announce the successful candidates who have been offered Provisional Admission to 100 level (UTME) courses for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic session. To facilitate a smooth enrollment process, we have outlined the necessary steps and requirements below.
Acceptance Fee Details:
Candidates are required to make an immediate payment of a non-refundable acceptance fee based on their chosen program and residency status. The acceptance fees are as follows:
Medicine & Surgery, Law, and Nursing Science:
- Deltan: ₦65,000
- Non-Deltan: ₦75,000
Pharmacy and Engineering:
- Deltan: ₦60,000
- Non-Deltan: ₦70,000
Other Faculties/Departments:
- Deltan: ₦50,000
- Non-Deltan: ₦60,000
It is essential for candidates to promptly make the payment and provide evidence at the point of screening in their respective Faculties.
Acceptance of Admission in CAPS:
Provisionally admitted candidates must visit the JAMB CAPS site and accept their offer of admission starting from Monday, 18th September, 2023. This process should be completed within four weeks from the date of provisional admission. Failure to do so may result in being listed under “refusal to accept admission,” leading to ineligibility for future admissions by JAMB.
Faculty Screening Requirements:
Candidates should prepare the following items/documents for the screening exercise, which begins immediately and extends over a four-week period:
- Evidence of payment of acceptance fee
- Original JAMB Admission Letter
- Original UTME result printout (not notification of result), computer printout for private candidates
- SSCE result duly certified and stamped by the principal (original and five photocopies)
- Letter of reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Civil Servant (original and five photocopies)
- Birth Certificate/Sworn declaration of Age (original and five photocopies)
- Local Government of origin or State of origin Certificate (not affidavit of Local Government)
- School testimonial (original and five photocopies)
- Passport photographs with a red background (12 copies), with one passport attached to the file and two passports on the clearance form
- Candidates who obtained their entry qualifications (WASC, GCE, NECO, etc.) on or before 2020 (WAEC) must present the original certificates.
