The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here! The Adamawa State University (ADSU) has officially released the UTME/DE Admission List for the 2023/2024 academic session. All candidates who applied for admission into the undergraduate degree program at ADSU are urged to check their admission status promptly.
Checking Your Admission Status:
The UTME Admission List has been published on the school’s notice board. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the notice board to verify their admission status. In addition, the university has provided an alternative method to check your admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
Here’s how to check on JAMB CAPS:
- Visit JAMB eFacility and log in with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
- Click on ‘Check Admission Status.’
- Select ‘Access my CAPS.’
- Click on ‘Admission Status’ to discover if you have been offered admission.
Required Documents for Clearance:
If you find your name on the admission list, congratulations! You are required to present the following documents during the clearance process:
- Original certificates of educational qualifications
- Original copy of Local Government Indigene Certificate
- Original Birth Certificate/Statutory Declaration of Age
- Original/Photocopy of UTME/DE slip
- Original O’level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.)
- Diploma/NCE/JMB results
- Original copy of the online screening form
- Original JAMB admission letter
Acceptance of Admission:
Admitted candidates must proceed to JAMB CAPS and click either “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate their acceptance or rejection of the admission offer. To access detailed instructions on how to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS, refer to the provided link here.
Additionally, admitted candidates should visit JAMB CAPS to accept their admission officially. This step is essential for printing the JAMB admission letters.
