Admission Process

Step 1: Change of Institution on the JAMB Portal

• Visit JAMB’s official portal and log in.
• Navigate to “Change of Institution” and select Fountain University as your preferred First Choice.
• Print the evidence of the change of Institution.

Step 2: Return to Fountain University’s Website

• Visit Fountain University’s website.
• Review admission requirements and guidelines.
• Proceed to the Post UTME Screening.

Step 3: Post-UTME Screening

• Click on “Take Post UTME Screening” to access the registration portal.
• Fill in accurate information and submit the application before the specified deadline.
• Pay a Post UTME screening fee of N2,000.

Step 4: What Next After Post UTME Screening?

• Await the admission office to process your application.
• Once offered admission, pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N60,000.
• Print your admission letter from both JAMB and Fountain University portals.

University Application Steps

1. Visit www.fuo.edu.ng and click on “APPLY FOR ADMISSION.”
2. Create an account by clicking “NEW APPLICATION.”
3. Fill the form, submit it, and check your email for your “APPLICATION NUMBER.”
4. Log in to the admission portal to start your application.
5. Pay the application fee and upload necessary documents.
6. Take the Post UTME exam.
7. Await the admission office to process your application.
8. Upon admission, pay the acceptance fee, and your portal will be updated.
9. Print your Acceptance Letter.

How to Make Payments

1. Go to newportal.fuo.edu.ng, click on ‘STUDENTS’ from the ‘MENU,’ and login.
2. Update your profile and contact the bursary for payment details.
3. Enter the amount you’d like to pay without commas or special characters.
4. Click on “FEES” to see available fees and select the applicable ones.
5. Register your courses after meeting with your level adviser.
6. Meet your level adviser for course approval.
7. Return to your portal to print approved courses and proceed to your college and department.
