The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2023/2024 academic session Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise. As a government-owned Nigerian university, UNIABUJA was established on January 1, 1988, under Decree No. 110 of 1992 as amended, with a dual-mode mandate to offer both conventional and distance learning programs.
Key Information:
- Sale of Screening Form/Registration: Commences on Monday, 11th September 2023.
- Cut-off Mark: The general UTME cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is 180, although some courses may require a higher score. To view the full list of UNIABUJA Departmental cut-off marks, follow this link.
- Application Fee: The Post UTME/DE Application Fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only, payable through the ADMISSION PORTAL. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, and candidates will be required to pay appropriate bank charges.
- Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have chosen the University of Abuja as their first choice during the Post-UTME and Direct Entry Registration. UTME candidates must have a minimum score of 180, and Direct Entry candidates should upload both O’ Levels and Higher qualifications to the University portal.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
- Change of Institution: Interested candidates who did not initially choose the University of Abuja as their first choice but wish to study at UNIABUJA should effect a change via the JAMB website.
- O’ Level Results: Prospective candidates are strongly advised to upload their O’ LEVEL RESULTS onto the JAMB website (CAPS) at the nearest JAMB Office or accredited CBT Centre.
How to Apply:
- Visit http://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng and click on “Click here to apply.”
- Click on the Undergraduate link on the left pane.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on “Get details.”
- Complete the basic information page, ensuring the use of a valid phone number and email address.
- On the payment review page, click on “Generate RRR” to proceed to the next page.
- Click “Submit,” and you will be redirected to the Remita payment page.
- Enter your ATM card details and submit. Complete the transaction by entering the OTP code sent to your phone.
- After successful payment, click on “Main login,” enter your JAMB registration number, and your surname as the password.
- Click on “Login to dashboard.”
- Proceed to “Application form” and complete your registration.
- Ensure you print the completed registration form, payment receipt, and exam schedule.
Application Closing Date:
The deadline for the online submission of the application form is Friday, 13th October 2023.
Note: Applicants providing false information or uploading incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.
