Abia State University, ABSU Admission List Out – 2023/2024

We are pleased to inform all candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise of Abia State University (ABSU) for the 2023/2024 academic session that the much-anticipated list of admitted candidates has been officially released. This first batch admission list includes the names of candidates who have been offered admission into the regular undergraduate programs of Abia State University.

How to Check ABSU Admission List on JAMB CAPS:

To access the admission list, candidates are required to follow these simple steps on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS):

1. Visit the JAMB CAPS portal at https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and log in with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status.’
3. Further click on ‘Access my CAPS.’
4. Finally, click on ‘Admission Status’ to view if you have been offered admission.

For candidates whose status is displaying “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted,” it is recommended to keep checking, as the status may change in the coming days.

Note: The admission list is currently not available on the school’s official website. However, once uploaded, candidates can use the following procedure to check their admission status.

Accept or Reject Admission on JAMB Website:

Candidates are also advised to check their admission status on the JAMB website and promptly click on “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate their acceptance or rejection of the admission offer. How to Check ABSU Admission List on School Website:

Additionally, candidates can check their admission status on the ABSU school website using the following steps:

1. Visit the ABSU admission status checking portal: https://portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng/Applicant/Admission/CheckStatus.
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the required column.
3. Click on login and proceed to view your admission status.
